Welcome to the 7th International Conference on Intelligent Technologies and Systems “Leading the future: Innovation and science from the heart of the Amazon” (CI3 2026)

Organized by the Research, Innovation, and Technology Transfer Network (RIT2), the conference will take place on September 3–4, 2026, at the Instituto Superior Tecnológico Oriente (ITSO).

The conference provides the premier international forum that brings together researchers, academics, and professionals from diverse sectors to discuss advances in intelligent technologies and their applications in industry, society, and sustainable development.

“Leading the future: Innovation and science from the heart of the Amazon”, represents CI3 2026’s commitment to leadership in knowledge generation, promoting scientific innovation from one of the most important ecosystems on the planet. The motto highlights the Amazon as a meeting point for research, international collaboration, and the development of sustainable solutions that drive the future.

CI3-2026 will cover a wide range of topics included in the following sections:

Generating a space for discussion and collaboration between researchers and professionals from academia, industry and government; to present and discuss ideas, experiences and challenges regarding the latest trends and advances in the technological and humanistic fields.

Publication Details (Technology track)

The technological track of the CI3 Congress includes the publication of accepted papers by the renowned publisher Springer, ensuring high academic quality standards. The contributions will be part of the book titled Innovation and Research – Smart Technologies and Systems, included in the prestigious Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems series, which is indexed in Scopus. The volume will have its corresponding ISBN and ISSN, while each published article will be assigned an individual DOI for proper identification and citation. Additionally, all submissions will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process, ensuring the quality, originality, and scientific relevance of the presented research.

For this track, submissions must be prepared in PDF format and written in English.

Publication Details (Management and Society track)

The Management and Society track of the CI3 Conference includes the publication of accepted papers in multidisciplinary journals belonging to the institutes that make up RIT 2, all indexed in Latindex 2.0, ensuring visibility and academic recognition at the regional level.

Participating journals include Conectividad, Generando Productividad Institucional, Innovación & Saber, South American Research Journal, Sucre Review, Nexos Científicos, Identidad Bolivariana, Espíritu Emprendedor, ISTE Scientist, Atenas y IST Central Técnico.

Each article will be assigned formal identifiers, facilitating proper citation and indexing, and will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process, ensuring the quality, relevance, and scientific contribution of the published research.

For this track, submissions must be prepared in PDF format and written in Spanish.

Publication Details (Abstracts)

The CI3 Conference receives research abstracts aligned with its two main thematic tracks, fostering the participation of the academic and scientific community through innovative and high-impact proposals.

All accepted abstracts will be compiled and published in the official conference proceedings, which will be assigned an ISBN, and each contribution will receive an individual DOI, ensuring proper identification, visibility, and citation within the academic community.

For this track, submissions must be prepared in PDF format and written in Spanish.

The Venue

CI3-2026 will be held in the city of La Joya de los Sachas at the main campus of the Instituto Tecnológico Superior Universitario Oriente.
